TUAKAU TOWN BOARD
OVERHEAD BRIDGE '['lie Tuakau Town Board has discussed the question of erosion on the sides of Harrisviile Hill Road and the expenditure of £lB6 is contemplated in tiie summer. The Hon. R. P. Bollard notified that the Railway Department would provide an overhead stock bridge at the Tuakau railway yards, with necessary road approach, provided the board would repay to the department by annual cash instalments the cost of the approach, estimated at £770. The whole work was estimated to cost £1,650. it was agreed that the board could contribute £2O a year for 10 years, provided the Pukekawa, Onewhero and Port Waikato Ridings of the Raglan County would contribute the balance of the £770 over a similar term. The clerk was instructed to convene a conference to discuss the proposal. 1
