DEATH AT PARAWERA

MR. A. K. ELLICOTT The death occurred on Thursday l , evening' at Parawera, Te Awamutu, of i Mr. Archibald Hartmann Ellicott. He was born in Gosport, England. 47 years | ago. but had been a resident of New j Zealand for 30 years. He was occu- | pied for some time in sheep and dairy j farming in Taranaki and in the King ' Country, and 15 years ago he settled in the Waikato district. He bought large properties at Marowhemo. Maungaturoto and Parawera, Tc Awamutu, which he worked until his health failed. Mr. Ellicott was a strong supporter of the Reform Government and took a keen interest in politics. He also served as a member of several local bodies, including the Waipa County Council. He leaves a widow, three daughters and a son.
