SHOOT ON THURSDAY Members of the Papakura Gun Club held a series of competitions on Thursday afternoon. Results are as follow: Sweepstake, 5-bird Competition.—T. Grinter, 1; C. Chamberlain, 2. Five-bird Competition, for Mr. Lewis’s Trophy. —E. C. Foote, 1, with possible; H. Bartell, 2. For Mr. Down’s Trophy. —H. Barteil and C. Chamberlain tied and divided. Five-bird Competition, for Mr. N. Watson’s Trophy. —R. Petherbridge and C. F. Young tied with the possible and divided. For Mr. C. S. Beechey’s Trophy.—R. Petherbridge and L. Lacassie tied with four birds each and divided.
