WAIUKU KENNEL CLUB
ANNUAL SHOW (From Our Own Correspondent.) WAIUKU, To-day. There were good entries and a satisfactory attendance at the annual show of the Waiuku Kennel Club, which opened yesterday. The judge, Mr. T. Francis, commented very favourably upon the class of dogs benched, making special mention of the Pomeranians and Pekinese, which he considered were good. The collies shown were also a fine lot. Special prizes were won as follows: Best Waiuku Dog.—Mrs. M. Collins’s Rajah. Best Gun Dog.—Mr. C. D. A. Ravnes’s Mahutu. Best Toy Dog.—Mr. G. Hant’s Alston Authority. Best Toy Dog. other than Pomeranian. —Mrs. P. Campbell’s Bumble of Tang. Best Dog in Show (Cup and Ribbon). — Mr. S. H. Barton’s Totara Spark. Best Cocker Spaniel.—Miss P. Summerhay’s Fitzherbert Caesar.
