APPRECIATED
HPHE action of the Checker Taxi Company in providing transport for the inmates of the Salvation Army Women’s Industrial Home, which was destroyed by fire last week, was a great help in saving further discomfort. Many of the women escaped without even a coat, and it was fortunate that they were so speedily conveyed to shelter.
