Mr. H. P. Simmons, an expert Australian tradesman, whose services as a jujube and novelty line specialist were originallv acquired by J. M. Mennie, Ltd., started a few years ago in his own factory in Sussex Street, Grey Lynn, where he met with much success. Softcoated pan goods, frosted peanuts, sugared almonds, aniseed balls and other sweets have been regularly supplied to the trade in the city and suburbs. the new delicacy But the point to remember is this—that the firm made the most of its show opportunity to introduce an exclusive delicacy, “Kreemy Korn,” which has been sold in great quantity for the past week. Made by using American silver maize, a nutritious cereal food, coated with a mixture including principally cream and butter, the new line has evidently tickled the public palate and the craving is likely to endure. Simmons and Co., the sole manufacturers, intend to satisfy the big call anticipated for "Kreemy-Korn’’ and other soft-coated pan goods. The firm invites inquiries from those interested to act as agents in the city and country districts.
