MODEL ENGINEERS

MEETING OF SOCIETY The Auckland Society of Model Engineers held its monthly meeting in the Y.M.C.A. rooms last evening. Between 30 and 40 members were present and four new members were elected. The president, Mr. F. E. Powell, gave an interesting address on how the Model Engineers’ Society was first established in London. A short address on how model engineering could benefit the community morally and intellectually was given by Mr. E. C. Cutten. S.M., the newlyelected patron. It was decided to hold another social evening in September, the date to be fixed later.
