A HONOLULU PLAN By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright HONOLULU, Tuesday. A committee of local journalists has been appointed to prepare for and call a Pan-Pacific newspaper congress at Honolulu in 1928, to which Australia and New Zealand will be invited to send representatives. Their first task will be to investigate the sources of news and the methods employed in gathering and distributing news in the Pacific area, including Australia and New Zealand.—A. and N.Z. AMERICANS IN BRITAIN (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Tuesday. A party of 25 editors of American newspapers has arrived in London, where they will remain for a week. The visitors will be entertained by the proprietors of various newspapers and Press organisation*?. They will be received by the actingPrime Minister. Sir Austen Chamberlain, at the Foreign Office on Thursday.
