AN EX-RAY MARTYR
DEATH OF SCIENTIST By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright LONDON, Tuesday. One of the earliest of the pioneer investigators into the properties of the X-ray, Mr. Alfred C. Taylor, has died at the age of 61. Air. Taylor* had for over seven years suffered intensely from dermatitis. He died at Peterborough, where he began his experiments within three months of the discovery of the ray by Professor W. K. Rontgen. In spite of his sufferings,‘ Mr. Taylor recently remarked: “I would do it again.”—Sun.
