GOOD PROGRESS MADE That satisfactory progress is being made in the borough street work was the report made to the Noi thcote Borough Council lust night when the Mayor, Mr. A. E. Greenslade, presided. The Takapuna Borough Council’s request for a refund of £B6 18s, Northcote’s proportion of the sum spent on the purchase of a site for the proposed refuse destructor, was referred to the Finance Committee.
