DUNLOP RUBBER FIRMS
UNIFICATION SCHEME By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright LONDON, Monday. The “Morning Post” says an important step in the direction of the unification of the Dunlop rubber companies is announced. The English company has made a provisional arrangement with the Australian and New Zealand companies, under which there will be the closest technical alliance. The English company will acquire a share interest in the Australian company and will have representation on the board. A separate New Zealand company will be formed, to be owned jointly by the English and the Australian companies. Only Canada and the Far East will now be outside the sphere of the English company.—A. and N.Z.
