Lang’s first Ministry, is retiring from politics and will resume practice at the bar.—A. and N.Z. Mr. Edward Alolysius McTiernan is 35 years of age. He was Attorney-General in the Storey and Dooley Governments. Last year Mr. McTiernan took a trip to England to investigate the constitutional position following the Governor’s refusal to appoint more members to the Legislative Council.
