VALUES FIRM AT WESTFIELD
BULLOCKS MAKE £4/15/ANOTHER SHORT YARDING A restricted yarding of most classes of fat stock faced buyers at Westfield to-day. The market was firm at late rates, and bidding spirited. In fact, few lines of bullocks which would be termed prime came forward. The yarding of under 300 cows and heifers contained a large percentage of inferior fatted lines, though prices were on a par with late sales. A line of heavy Shorthorn bullocks on account of Jas. Taylor, of Bordowie, topped the market at £l4 15s. Another line of heavy bullocks on account W. J. and H. H. Thompson, Te Awamutu, made to £l3 7s 6d. Better bullocks on account J. Freegard, Waerenga, made to £l4 ss.
