INTER-CLUB BOWLING
TEAMS FOR SATURDAY The following rinks will represent Hillsborough in inter-club matches on Saturday:—Against Dominion Road at Hillsborough: Stringer, Wilkinson, Pollard, Williamson. Against Mount Eden at Hillsborough: Sainty, Sheath, Anderson, Wilson. Against Epsom at Hillsborough: Scarboro, Clark, Waters, Thomas. Against Epsom at Epsom: McMillan. Smith, Monk. Thompson. MOUNT ALBERT CLUB The following rinks will represent Mount Albert against Rocky Nook on Saturday:—At Rocky Nook: Stewart, Gladding, Dann, Allely; Pickens, Doyle, Nisbet, E. Thomas. At Mount Albert: Pool, Rev. Beck, Walker, G. Clark: Blomeley, Mason, Rowe, Bromley. The final of the champion pairs tournament between Wallett and Holdsworth and Sheppard and Allely resulted in a win for Sheppard and Allely. In the early stages Holdsworth gained a commanding lead, but Allely drew level at the 15th head. On the last head Holdsworth lay three, but Allely drew the shot and won by one point.
