REP. JERSEYS GO ASTRAY SUSPENSION OF PLAYERS The weekly meeting of. the Waipa Rugby Union took place at Te Awamutu on Monday evening. There were present: ,Messrs. G. S. Clark (chairman), A. A. Reese, H. T. Haselden, J. G. B. Gifford, G. B. Melrose, G. Reynolds, F. Gillett, W. Cavanagh, W. Whitton, S. A. McNamara, E. T. Crump, and the secretary, Mr. W. M. Winter. The Matamata Rugby Union submitted three names as referees for the Boyce Cup challenge next Saturday. It was decided to ask that Mr. R. M. McCready act as referee. Mr. Kavanagh was appointed manager of the team. The loss of several representative jerseys was reported. It was decided to suspend five players who have defaulted in returning union property to the caretaker. Those players will not be allowed to take their place in teams, either representative or club, until the property is returned. The manager for Marist Old Boys. Auckland, offered to arrange for a team to meet the Waipa seniors at Te Awamutu shortly, en route to Taranaki.
