MEETING ON THURSDAY In connection with the Religious Exercises in Schools Bill, to be introduced in Parliament shortly. a public meeting under the auspices of the State Education Defence League is to be held at the Chamber of Commerce. Swanson Street, on Thursday evening. The meeting will be addressed by Mr. John Caughley M.A., who prior to this year was Director of Education, and also Mr. Rupert Harrison, headmaster of the Belmont school, arid president of the local branch of the Educational Institute.
