Helping Women and Children. —It was reported to Monday’s meeting of the Society for the Protection of Women and Children that 4b cases b concerning husbands and wit es and lo concerning children, had been dealt with. S 9 visits being paid by the inspector. Mrs. Hain and Mrs. Massey, of Mangere, were thanked tor thei r work in connection with the societj s street collection.
