THEFT OF COPPER CABLE

TWO MEN CHARGED £276 WORTH INVOLVED Harry Ernest Meyer, aged 55. and Francis Augustus White, aged 44. were charged at the Police Court this morning with the theft of three drums of copper cable, valued at £270, the property of the New Zealand Government On the application of Chief-Detec-tive Cummings the two accused were remanded to appear on July 4. Bail wsys fixed at £250.
