NEW WORKSHOPS OPENED BY SIR E. MITCHELSON
JUBILEE BLIND INSTITUTE INMATES AT WORK milestone in the progress of the Jubilee Institute for the Blind was reached this afternoon, when the Hon. Sir Edwin M itchelson, K.C.M.G., M.L.C., officially opened the new workshops in Parnell Road. The new building, which has been in occupation for some weeks, presented a busy scene, the blind workers demonstrating for the benefit of those who attended the ceremony their skill In a variety of crafts. The institute owes this welcome addition to the generosity of the people of Auckland and to subscriptions from the Government.
