TE PATAKA

NATIONAL STOREHOUSE TOWN HALL EXHIBITION “Buy New Zealand-made Goods” is the slogan for Aucklanders this week. The big display in the Town Hall is an incentive to purchase what New Zealanders can manufacture in their own country. The mannequin parades and ballet of girls dressed to represent different well-known Dominion brands are still drawing large attendances to the Town Hall. Likewise the Maori maidens with their poi and other dances. The services of the troupe were available through the instigation of the Mayoress of Onehunga (Mrs. Coldicutt). Three days longer will the Auckland public be permitted to see the Te Pataka, or New Zealand national storehouse, exhibition.
