The organiser of the Reform Party, Mr. A. E. Davy, has resigned. Mr. P. Hally, Conciliation Commissioner, left last evening for Arapuni. Sir Thomas Mackenzie, M.L.C., has arrived in Auckland from Wellington. Mr. J. C. Clarkson, of Christchurch, arrived in Auckland by the Limited this morning. •Mr. Allan Bell, M.P. for the Bay of Islands, is in Auckland. He is at the Grand Hotel. Mr. A. Anderson, and Mr. W. J. Hopkins, two Canterbury visitors,* arived in Auckland this morning by the Limited. Mr. W. S. Pratt, manager of the Northern Roller Milling Company, left for the South by the Limited last evening. Mr John Fuller will leave Auckland to-night for Wellington. With members of his family, Mr. Fuller will sail for Lonc.on on Tuesday by the Rotorua. W 3 regret to relate that Mr. Drayton is still lying seriously ill at his home, Glen Eden. We trust Mr. Drayton may take a change toward recovery. , Mr. 11. Winstone was a successful exhibitor, winning two firsts in White Wyandot tes; also special for best Wyandotte at Taranaki Poultry Show held at New Plymouth. Mr. Tt. J. Roberts, who has been president of the Auckland Poultrykeepers’ Association for some time, was re-elected at Monday night’s annual meeting. Mr. C. E. Smith, business manager of the National Mutual Life Association of Australasia, Ltd., has been appointed to the position of general manager of the Commonwealth General Insurance Corporation.
