PUBLIC WORKS INSPECTORS An instance of the close eye the public works men at Arapuni keep on the progress of the works was given yesterday morning, when the engineers started “grouting” at the main dam. The process consists of forcing liquid cement into the masonry, under compressed air, so that minute interstices may be filled. Yesterday the public works man disagreed with the way he engineers were tackling the job, and the work was stopped. v .
