BREST TO NEW YORK IN SUPER MOTOR-BOAT

FORTY-EIGHT HOURS’ TRIP By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright PARIS, Wednesday. Ettoire Bugatti, a racing motor designer, is constructing a super-motor-boat in which he will attempt to make a voyage from Brest to New York in 48 hours. The craft is shaped like a submarine. It is to have eight netrol engines of a new type, with a to • 1 of 2,-100 h.p. The length of the vessel is 120 ft. and the width 7ft. The inventor claims that it will attain a maximum speed of 87 miles an hour. If the sea is calm the motor-boat will be navigated from the bridge. Otherwise it will be sealed up, like a submarine, and steered by means of a periscope. There will be a crew of eight men.—Sun.
