PAHIATUA TRAGEDY
VICTIM INTERRED Press Association. PAHIATUA, Tuesday. The funeral took place this afternoon of W. J. Barrett, the victim of the tragedy at the Commercial Hotel on Saturday, in connection with which the Indian cook, Deva Kala, stands charged with murder. There was a large attendance of town and country residents, in spite of the inclement weather. The floral tributes were numerous. The Rev. G. ,W. Fenwick officiated.
