Miss M. Cousins won the C grade medal match at Middlemore yesterday. A competition for girl members will be held during the school holidays and a prize will be given for the best two cards for the last nine holes. GLENDOWIE CLUB Glendowie Club held an open day on Wednesday. A most successful function saw Mrs. Dufaur win the net and gross competitions, with 86 —7, 79. Mrs. Browne was 101—20, 81; Miss Colebrook, 94—12, 82; and Miss Culling, 87—3, 84.

Miss Arneil won the C grade event.
