POCKET-MONEY FOR CHILDREN
(From Our Resident Reporter.) WELLINGTON, To-day. Complaints made of pocketmoney being given to children are supported by the headmaster of Te Aro school, who says that a great deal of harm is done, not only to chums, who feel an obligation to return the treats, and who sometimes are driven to theft to secure sufficient to spend. Parents who took the line of least resistance did not realise the harm they caused.
