KEEPS HANDS CLEAN:

When necessity forces the motorist to make emergency repairs on the road, a preventive measure to keep grime and dirt from the hands is as follows: A small amount of cup grease, such as is used in the lubrication of the car, if rubbed well into the hands, will, according to L. G. Evans, of the service department of the National Automobile Club, prevent the entrance into the pores of this dirt. The grease is easily removed with soap and water. Correct lubrication is the key to the successful operation of a motor-cycle. “Any” oil is not good enough. The oil must be of high grade, and specially recommended for air-cooled engines. So-called “lubricating oil” sold at cheap rates is very false economy.
