MAORI’S ASTOUNDING MASQUERADE AS GIRL
ADMITTED TO A COLLEGE THREE MONTHS’ GAOL Press Association NAPIER, To-day. George Grace, a native, aged IS years, appeared in female attire at the Police Court charged with being disguised. He pleaded guilty. It was stated by the police that Grace gained admission to a girls’ college. He had nothing to say in reply to th.e magistrate asking for a reason for his behaviour. He was sent to gaol for three monthsThe magistrate said: “I’ll teach you to leave girls’ clothing and girls’ colleges alone in future.”
