DIALOGUE MISUNDERSTOOD

CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. The report that Walter Hulston may reopen his premises in Madras Street, pending the decision of the Court of Appeal, is incorrect. The misunderstanding arose when the Chief Justice, in announcing that the Court of Appeal reserved its decision, asked Mr. A. T. Donnelly, who appeared for the Crown, whether if the court decided to rescind the order, he would require a bond that they would not be used for illegal purposes. Mr. Donnelly replied that he would ask for a bond of £2OO.
