Recent German attacks in Roumanin wore ineffective. Russo-Rou-mauian advanced parties, commencing with the flanks of the army, solidly dashed forward in the Dornawatra region and on the left bank of the Danube. The Dobrudja troops retired to previously-fortified positions in conformity with the general retreat.
