'Tiie New Statesman, a ‘ -London weekly publication, makes interesting disclosures concerning recent events in the Duma, which, resulted in Premier Stunner’s dismissal.

M. Miliukov, leader of the Constitutional Democrats, accused Sturmor of co-operating with the proGcrman clique at- the Russian .Court in negotiating for a separate peace aiid in disorganising the railways, munitions, and food supplies, for the purpose of hampering the army. After Stunner left the Duma, General Shuvaiev (War Minister) and Admiral Gregorovitch (Minister of Marine) went to the Duma and declared that they intended to fight to a finish and that victory was certain, and amid frenzied cheers General Shuvaiev shook hands with M. Miliukov. The New Statesman declares that the chiefs of the Russian Field Army, Generals Alexeicv, Hussky, Brusiloff, and Evert, demanded Stunner’s dismissal, and are supporting the Duma.
