'J'he Germans have warned the population of Liege to prepare for deportation next week. AN AFFRAY WITH SMUGGLERS. GERMAN INFANTRY CHARGE CUSTOMS OFFICIALS. (Received 10.35 a.m.) msterdam, November 27. The Telegraaf states that the inhabitants of Wilkenfndt assisted the Customs officials who were armed v itli cudgels, attacked a Land ol Germans who were smuggling food from Belgium. German infantry arrived and hayonetted the crowd, killing one official and injuring some civilians.
