During the war period, the Germans have sunk neutral vessels to the extent of 421,333 gross tonnage, iho chief sufferers being 168 Norwegians of 42,779 tons, 3S Danish of 37,234 tons, and 18 Dutch of 54,914 tone. SWEDISH STEAMER SUNK. HUNS HOIST BY OUR PETARD. (Received, 9.50 a.m.) Stockholm, November 5. A German submarine held up the Swedish steamer Runhild and placed a prize crew aboard and ordering it to Libau. Subsequently another submarine torpedoed the Runhill, and a Swedish torpedoer saved the crew. The prize crew were interned.
