The committee is offering the original of Kitchener'.-; letter cabled on March 16, or one thousand guineas, as a prize to the nearest guesser of tho number of marriages and births in England in 1916. There are other prizes amounting to C-jOO. The Meat Traders are providing the prize mnnoj, one giving £IOOO for a competition which will be open to Australia and New Zealand, the shilling for entrance lees to go to the fund.
