Official: Italy is forbidding Italians to trade with subjects of the enemy States or their Allies, including persons or bodies in established territory belonging to or occupied by them. A second decree places under the and renders liable to sequestration or liquidation, if necessary, all commercial undertakings in Italy belonging to or controlled by subjects of enemy States or her Allies. We repulsed an attack on the Carso, and shelled the railway stations of Santa Lucia and Tolmino, where the movements of trains were reported by our aeroplanes. We bombarded tlie Reinenburg railway station and the Gorizia-Trieste line with good results. Hostile seaplanes bombed Venice and Gadio Lagoon, the damage being slight. AUSTRIAN REPORT. August 17. Official: The Italians on Wednesday attacked us five times, many ranks deep, between the Wippaek river and Oppachisella. At only one point were we obliged to drive them back after- hard fighting. Attacks everywhere else broke down under our fire, with exceedingly heavy losses.
