REBELLIOUS PRISONER-OF-WAR. ROUGH HANDLING ON WELLINGTON WHARF. Per Press Association, Wellington, June 15. A German prisoner-of-war who was being conveyed back to Somes Island last night after transacting business iu the city became violent on the wharf and attacked his soldier escort. Civilians quickly overcame the German, who was frog-marched to the boat waiting to take him back. The prisoner's abuse of Britishers in general resulted in several by-standers roughlv handling •him.
