COMMONWEALTH WAR LOAN. Umitted Prms AasoourioH. (Received 9.20 a.m.) Sydney, June 15. Mr Higgs has issued.a circular appealing to the public, particularly to small investors who are offered substantial inducements, to participate in and support the new war loan. He says: The national expenditure for the year 1917, will amount to orer seventy million, most of which 'must he raised by loan. AUSTRALIAN CASUALTIES. Sydney, Juno 14. Killed in action: Lance-Corporal ¥. Baker. Died from illness: Private A. Cameron. Seriously wounded: Private R. Morton. Wounded Sapper F. S. Pine. Ill; Sergeant W. J. McLeod, Private W. H. Gore (third occasion). Returned to duty: Private E R. De Bournel.
