COMMONWEALTH WAR LOAN. (Received 10.35 a.m.) Melbourne, May 31. Mr Higgs states that the next Commonwealth war loan will be placed on the. Australian market early in June. The Ministry is empowered to borrow up to £50,000,000. It is understood that the intention of the new loan will not bear a fixed amount, but that the Government will take as much of the Ji Itv millions as is offered.
