LONDON WOOL SALES. United Pkem Asso'cktioh. London, April 12. Wool met with a brisker sale, there being wider competition. The advance on merinos was fully five per cent. Owing to the unfavorable weather •I conditions on Saturday last pigs were yarded in small numbers, (tut notwithstanding this, prices on all lines ruled fairly high. Weaners met with keen i competition and realised prices rang- | ing from 2s to 3s per head above thof-e ; of my previous sale. On Thursday, >%rch 30th, we held QUr a/utumn bullock and cattle sale in o/dr Kohuratalii yards, when we had a : yarding of 1063 cattle, 1820 sheep, and 3 horses. We also held a clearing sale of F, H. Symons' stock, which scld exceedingly well. The cattle yarded were in veal good condition, but bullocks and 2\ year steers were quiet of sale. Nevertheless w quitted several lines titer the sale. Young cattle sold well', realising very good, prices. 1 and ./Jf, vear bullocks (low in condition) £l2, H and 1 year 'bullocks £ll 10s,' fifil l..'s 6c!, and a nice pen of forward iuillocks was passed in at £l3 10s, 2i. year steers. £6 15s to £9, 20 month steers £4 10s to £5 2s 6d. On Tuesday, April 4th, we held our usual fortnightly salo in our Stratford yards, when we had a large yarding of both cattle and sheep* ■ and we sold most of the cattle and a good proportion of the sheep. We yarded 512 cattle and 1182 sheep. Prices: 4 tooth wethers 23s 9d to 245, good f.m. ewes 21s 6d, f.m. ewes 12s to 15s 54, good lambs 16s to I6s Bd. Store cows were yarded in good numbers and sold very well.
