AUSTRO-CERMAN SPIES. COUNTRY HONEY-COMBED WITH THEM. ALLEGATIONS AGAINST CONSULS United Press (Association. (Received 8.15 a.m.) Washington, November 14. Mr Goricar alleges that the United States is honeycombed with AustroGerruan spies under the direction of Herr Dumba and Count Bornstorff. Since the beginning of the war, eight millions have been spent to create a political and social upheaval to prevent the shipment of munitions to the Allies. Their activities are daily increasing owing to the economic strain ; and Germany having reached the limit of her producing capability, within the next few weeks America will be faced with a grave situation, involving attacks on railways, warehouses, wharves and shipping. Goricar declares that while the Consul was at San Francisco last year lie was ordered to secure the plans of the defences of the entire Pacific coast. Declining to act as a spy. the affair resulted in his resignation. He asserts that the Austrian Consuls at Cleveland, Saint Louis, Pittsburg, Saint Paul, Chicago, and Philadelphia, are spreading the propaganda among the foreign workers in munition factories. The AustroGerman Embassy denies the allegations.
PRO-GERMANS SUSPECTED. Now York, November I's.
