As a result of the action at Nasiriyeh. in the Euphrates Valley, on the 2-Ith, the. Turks retreated twenty-live miles. Their casualties were 2500, of whom 41 were officers, and we took 690 prisoners. Our casualties were 564, including 137 killed and missing.
