In connection with the silver frauds in 1913 the liquidator of the Indian Specie Rank has brought suit against nine directors of the hank, claiming £'1,110,000. the amount of the bank’s losses in silver speculation and other imprudent transactions ,and a.lsc claiming, £loo,ooo for dividends and bonuses wrongly paid out of capital FLOODS IN HONGKONG. (Received 0 a.m.) Hongkong, July 13. Floods in tin* West River are the severest and most disastrous on re cord. The suburb of Shameon is submerged to a depth of three feet. Many towns are isolated and fondless. i I i THE CASINO CRIME. (Receiivod 0 a.m.) •Sofia, July Id. Two persons have been sentenced to death for the explosion at the Casino, and four others to long terms of imprisonment. Ghenadied’ admitted giving large sums, but Hie principal prisoner did not explain his motive.
