H.M. THEATRE. On the new programme this evening a thrilling Majestic drama will be featured, entitled “Out of the Air,” an !amazing hiograph achievement. It is a storv of what an aviator did to save 'the life of his sweetheart, who was 1 caught in a railway switch with a runaway train only a few miles away. ; “The Latest War Gazette” features 'many scenes—the meeting of the livings of Norway, Sweden and Denmark—intercession day in France, etc, A line Mexican ranch story is I “The Hidden Message.” a Reliance 1 drama. Scenes showing “The Maori 'Contingent at Avondale” are of special interest. Other pictures on the programme are the “Girl at the Throttle” (drama), “Cheap Transportation” (comic), “Hasty Elopement” (comedy), and ”He Wanted Chickens” (comedy). NEW PLYMOUTH WINTER SHOW. 1 _____ 1 The Taranaki Metropolitan Agricultural Society’s Winter Show on Wednesday promises to ho one of the most interesting and successful winter shows yet held. The entries are numerous, nil classes being represented. Numerous entries for exhibition only will p-ove of interest. The Government -.ire sending a most complete exhibit of farm ami fruit produce from their experimental (arms. I his exhibit will take up a very large space in the hall and no expense is being spared to make same an educational as well as a spectacular. The experts "ill be in attendance. Numerous side shows will be in operation. In tbo machinery section, farmers will see up-to-date milking machines, motor oars of various make will be on exhibition. During the course of the Show, the gold nugget raffle will be most popular to those wishing to invest the nimble 2s (id to help the Society along The Show is to he opened by the Right Hon. Mr Massey. The visit of the Premier should make the iirst day’s show a record one for the district, and it is to be hoped that the country and town people will trim up in force to welcome him.
