AMERICAN VESSEL TORPEDOED. THE NEBRASKAN'S PLIGHT. United Pbkm Aspooiatioh. (Received 9.25 a.m.) London, May 26. The American steamer Nebraskan was torpedoed off Fastnet, but the crew was saved. She was outward bound for Delaware, and when forty miles off Fastnet, wirelessed last ngihfc, calling for help as he" had been torpedoed and the crew was standing by in boats. The weather was fine, and an armed trawler picked up the Nebraskan, which is niaking for Queenstown, with her forehold full of water. BRITISH SUBMARINES. A FINE DAY'S WORK. SIX SHIPS SPEEDILY SUNK. (Received 11.30 a.m.) Athens, May 26.
The Balkans News Agency states that a British submarine in the sea of Marmora on Monday sank three Turkish transports carrying troops and ammunition also two torpedo boats and a collier. Only twelve of the torpedo boats' sailors readied the Thraeian Coast. The submarine returned safely to Tenedos.
