THE FARMERS' FREEZING WORKS.

TARANAKI’S CO-OPERATIVE CONCERN. A meeting of« the Executive of the proposed Co-operative Meat Freezing Company was held at* the Borough Chambers, New Plymouth, yesterday, Mr. J. T. Quin, chairman, presiding. It was decided to at once proceed to allotment of shares. Some additional names* were added to the Executive, which now comprises:—Messrs. J. T. Quin, Eltham; Newton King, New Plymouth ; M. Fleming, Pungarehu ; E. Marfell, Toko; W. A. McCutchan, Whangamomona ; A. Morton, Egrnont Village; Martin, Pnkearnhe; VV. 1L Wright, Rahotu; A. W. Bbdge, Stratford; A. B. Camlin, Inglewood; H. P. Best, Eltham; and C. F. Young, Tariki. Mr. Mitchell, of Wellington, was appointed architect (a well-known designer of freezing works, not only in Australasia, but in South America), and Messrs. Govett and Quilliam solicitors to the company. It is understood that applications will be invited at once for the position of secretary. The newly-appointed solicitors were instructed to at once prepare a prospectus and carry out the necessary legal steps in the formation of the Company.
