AMUSEMENTS.

H.M. THEATRE. “Mr Barnes of New York,” which was screened last night and will be screened again this evening, proved a remarkable picture production. The duel scene is very dramatic, showing the fight to the death on the sea beach. The bombardment of Alexandria July 1882 is a very thrilling scene of this famous historical battle. There are many scenes equally dramatic, hut the play is not without a hearty laugh, many scenes being very humorous. The supporting films are “Beautiful California” (scenic), “The War Gazette,” “Two’s Company” (comedy), “Dash, Love and Splashes” (comedy).

XextTuesday evening, a grand Free Picture Entertainment with a collection will he given in aid of the Hospital Ship.
