LICENSED VICTUALLERS PROTEST. Per Press Association. Wanganui, May 2. The local Licensed Victuallers strongly resent the action of tlie Justices of the Peace in closing the hotels at 6 o’clock on race nights, and point lout that, though the hotels were open on the evenings before the race days, when there were just as many folk in town, there was an entire absence of noise or drunken disturbance.
