REICN OF TERROR, United Pbess Association. London, April .3. The .Morning Post's Berne correspondent says there is a reign of terras in Austria-Hungary. Sixteen were recently executed, and 46, including the Countess Icruyi, imprisoned in Austria for treason. There are daily executions in Moravia, the Governor declaring his intention to strike terror into the people. In consequence of fresh mutinies among Czech troops, two regiments at Prague have been transferred elsewhere. A regiment at Brunn refused to entrain for the front, and was decimated. A municipal councillor and twenty municipal employees were heavily sen. tenced at Prague for spreading unfavorable news. MISCELLANEOUS. Paris, April 4. Le Temps' Petrograd correspondent says the Emperor Franz Josef was resolute in declining concessions to Italy, saying he would rather abdicate than cede territory' to his former ally. Amsterdam, April 4. Advices from Vienna are that the Emperor Franz .Josef's appeal to the Pope for peace is officially denied. Vienna, April 5. Count Tisza declares that Hungary has insufficient food to last until the harvest, and the greatest economy will be necessary to avert famine. Xish, April 4. An Austrian armor-plated tug named the Belgrade was mined and
blown up below Semlin. Two survivors informed the Servian authorities that the tug was laden with ammunition, and carried tiesides a captain and two pilots for the passage of the Iron Gates, a naval officer and twentyfive sailors, and seven engineers. The men were told before quitting Semlin that they were starting on an important mission, and each would receive a bonus on its completion.
