The Fitzroy Club’s rinks to play Stratford at Stratford on Good Friday are as follow ; —Brooker, Sole, Allen and Leuland (s); Reid, Waldock, Pluintree, Olivers (s); Bellringer, • A very, Higgs, Jackson (s); Oxenham, Healy, Crawshaw, Rennell (s); McNeill, Walker, Price, Abbott (s). Rinks leave by the mail train. The champion of champions "’ngles tournament, for which the Westport Coal Company, is giving a gold medal, will he played on the Stratford green on Thursday, Apiii 8, the champion singles player of each club in the centre being eligible to compete, or in the event of a club not having had a champion singles cbmpetition it may select a representative. The names of competitors must be in the hands of the centre secretary, Mr 0. N. 'Firth, by 9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 6, 'and the draw will be made by Messrs [J. 1). Sole (West End), A. Iv. Smart (New Plymouth) and 0. N. Firth on Wednesday. The conditions of the tournament will depend upon the number of entrants.
