A CHILD ACCIDENTALLY DROWNED. I’eb Fbkbs Association. Dunedin, March 30. The daughter of WilUam Adams, junr., a farmer of Otokia, was found drowned in a water-hole shortly before dx o’clock last night. It seems that the child, who was two and a half years >f age, strayed from the house while nllking was in progress, and fell into .he hole, being found drowned twenty ninutes after she was last seen about the house. At the inquest a verdict of accidentally drowned was returned.

James Sanderson, of Sydenham, era. Joyed at the gasworks, was knocked lown by a train while crossing the railway lines at Waltham Road crossing this morning. He received injuries to his leg and hip.

Gunner Frank Olsen, who sustained a fractured skull as the result of a fall over a cliff while on duty at Sunnier Barracks, Lyttelton, on Saturday Homing, is reported to be making a slight improvement.
